Born in Columbus, Ohio, a heartland for many of Naples early winter residents, Lodge McKee first came to this area as a child visiting his grandmother’s vacation home which she purchased in 1947. As a youngster and teenager he became enamored with the wonders of Naples’ sub-tropical environment and the lure of the Gulf of Mexico and Ten Thousand Islands. In 1970 with a college education at Brown University in hand he made a bee-line for Naples to pursue a career in real estate and property management. After 11 years with an independent brokerage, he started his own firm which became Lodge McKee and Associates, Inc. He specialized in residential sales and leasing of vacation and retirement properties along the Gulf shore, often setting records for highest sales prices in the local market. Today he is a member of the “all star team” at Premier's Old Naples office.

Along the way Lodge found time to be active in Southwest Heritage, Inc., and the Carver Finance Corporation. He was founder and first president of the Old Naples Association, director and president of the Collier County Historical Society, along with directorships in two other museums and the Collier County Historical Commission. His civic activities include 6 years of service and chairmanship of the Naples Planning Advisory Board. An avid local historian, Lodge has become a popular guest speaker for many local service organizations.

Outside of professional and civic interests Lodge is an experienced racing sailor, yachtsman and antique boating enthusiast pursuing his maritime interests around Florida, New England and the eastern Midwest.
